Why You Don’t Need To Be On Snapchat

Have you been pressuring yourself to be on every single social media channel? Do you feel like you need to be on Snapchat?

It’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind on social media.

Where does that feeling come from? Why does that happen?

We look at what others are doing and tell ourselves that we aren’t doing enough.

It’s easy to tell ourselves a story that we need to be on every channel in order to be successful.

Well, that story is a lie.

Watch the video below to find out why you don’t need to be on Snapchat!

Choosing your channels:

If you want to be successful on social media, it isn’t about having a profile on every platform.

Success on social media comes down to choosing your channels.

If you want to create meaningful connections, you’re better off being on just one channel.

When you focus on one channel, you have the ability to really get to know your audience.

When you spread your social media presence across 5+ platforms, it’s a lot harder to create content regularly, engage often and make meaningful connections.

I’d rather see you prioritize one channel than trying to maintain a presence on multiple platforms because it’s not easy!

Staying active and engaged on social media takes time!

It takes time to create content, give shout-outs and make images to support your messaging.

If you’re on too many channels, you’re going to spend more time just playing catch-up than you are creating great connections.

If you want to be successful on social media, you don’t need to be on Snapchat!

You don’t have to be everywhere; you decide where you want to be.

My biggest tip: don’t overwhelm yourself. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.

Prioritize one platform and work to create meaningful connections on this channel first before branching out anywhere else!
