How To Find A Great Airbnb: Denver Airbnb Tour

Do you love to use Airbnb? I’ve got a little Airbnb Tour to take you on!

I visited Denver, Colorado for Labor Day weekend and stayed in a great little place.

I love using Airbnb because it’s cheaper AND more fun than a hotel.

Airbnb lets you really explore the neighborhood of the area you’re staying and settle in to feel like you’re right at home even when you’re away.

The best part of Airbnb: the privacy. You have your own private space (if you desire) to cook, shower, sleep and play.

Denver Airbnb Tour:

The old, Victorian home that I stayed in was located in the North Capitol Hill area. There are two bedrooms in the place, a full kitchen and one bathroom.

There are some really gorgeous homes in this area; it reminded me of Buffalo’s Elmwood Village.

We stayed on the third floor (walk-up) and had access to the back, private patio which was really nice!

The place had a really nice charm to it.

It was spacious and wasn’t over-decorated (like the Airbnb I stayed at in Austin, Texas was) and there was a ton of natural light.

Not to mention, I loved the decor. The gold-painted radiators and simple patterns and textures of the bedspreads made me feel like I walked into a catalog of my own design.

Lastly, the Airbnb had a great sign in the entryway that points you to some of the attractions in the neighborhood.

I love a place that caters to tourists and gives recommendations for places to eat, play and drink.

How To Find An Airbnb:

When it comes down to it, there are so many options on Airbnb that you definitely need to do some digging when picking a place.

Firstly, pay attention to the ratings. Read the reviews. Look at the full list of amenities.

You also want to pick a place with at least 10 ratings as a way of almost guaranteeing it’s legit. I don’t stay at places that are brand new.

I’d say the thing to pay the closest attention to is the accuracy rating. You want to be sure that the way the Airbnb is described actually matches what it is that you’re getting.
