I’ve seen a ton of people start to incorporate screen recordings into their social media content.
Whether you want to showcase your Instagram feed, make a tutorial or highlight a new feature or product on your website, using a screen recording is a great way to do so!
The nice thing about using this iPhone feature is that it is so easy to do!
It literally took me two minutes to sit down and record a mini tutorial video showing you the step-by-step on how to do it.
How to take a Screen Recording:
You can use a screen recording to show your fans how to create a graphic, post content to their page, and so much more!
Literally, anything you can do on your phone can be recorded through this feature, so the options are limitless.
The first thing you’re going to do is head to your Settings inside of your iPhone.
Go to Control Center and hit the Customized Controls button.
Scroll down to find the Screen Recording option and hit the green plus located to the left of it. This will add it to your dashboard so that you can access the tool when you swipe up on your iPhone.
To do a screen recording, swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone. The Screen Recording icon will be located at the bottom.
Hit the circle and it will count down (3, 2, 1) until your screen is being recorded.
You’ll know that the screen is being recorded because there is a red bar that appears at the top of your iPhone screen.
Now it’s up to you to do whatever you want to be recorded!
Scroll through your Instagram or show your audience how to use a specific app that you love.
As soon as you are done, you will swipe the red bar down and hit the “stop” button.
The video will automatically be saved to your camera roll as a video.
That’s it. It is really easy to take a screen recording from your iPhone!
